Samuel Akanbi AJALA is a Principal Chief Technologist in the Department of Industrial Chemistry, Faculty of Physical Sciences, University of Ilorin, with more than 3 decades of laboratory teaching, research, and administrative experience. 

He has assisted in the water treatment plant of the University of Ilorin Dam to carry out routine analysis on weekly basis to ensure water for the university environment is of good quality. He also conducts laboratory practical for students at all levels and also assist students on their project work. He has one publication in a reputable journal.

Mr. Ajala is the current head of Technologist in the Faculty of Physical Sciences. He has a Final Diploma of Nigerian Institute of Technology, PGD in Chemistry from Federal University of Technology, Akure and Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Industrial Chemistry from Ladoke  Akintola University of Technology.

He is an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Technology.
