Industrial Chemistry

Taofiqat Omotayo ABU, is a Lecturer II in the Department of Industrial Chemistry, Faculty of Physical Sciences, University of Ilorin with more than 10 years of university teaching, research, and administrative experience.

Her areas of research interest cover materials recycling, structural elucidation of natural minerals, wastewater treatment using natural minerals and evaluation of kinetics and thermodynamics of chemical processes. She has several publications in the areas of her pursuits to her credit and has successfully supervised several undergraduate projects.

Mrs. Abu is a certified member of Chemical Society of Nigeria (CSN), Society for the Conservation of Phytofuels and Sciences (SCOPAS) and Materials Science of Nigeria (MSN)
