Biography

Hussein Kehinde OKORO, is a Reader in the Department of Industrial Chemistry, Faculty of Physical Sciences, University of Ilorin with more than 10 years of university teaching, research, and administrative experience.

He has served as the Head of Department, Deputy Director (Training), Centre for Research Development and In-house Training (CREDIT). His areas of research interest cover analytical and environmental chemistry.

He has to his credit over seventy publications in reputable outlets covering journals, edited conference proceedings and chapters in books. He has successfully supervised several undergraduate and postgraduate projects. 

Dr. Okoro is a Certified member of the Chemical Society of Nigeria (CSN), Fellow, Institute of Chartered Chemists of Nigeria, Material Society of Nigeria (MSN), Science Association of Nigeria (SAN), Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry, and American Chemical Society.
