Omotayo Olutola DOSUMU is a professor in the Department of Industrial Chemistry, Faculty of Physical Sciences, University of Ilorin, with over 35 years of university teaching experience, research, and administrative experience.
He is the pioneer HOD of Department Industrial Chemistry, he has also served as the Deputy Director of Energy Resources Center Unilorin. He has also served in many committees both at the departmental and university level. His main area of research include; food chemistry, extraction and characterization of natural products.
He has over 50 publications in reputable outlets covering journals, edited conference proceedings and chapters in books in area of his research. He has attended many international conferences and fellowships. He has supervised many undergraduate projects and master’s dissertation and PhD theses.
Prof. Dosumu is a member of many chemistry related professional bodies within and outside Nigeria including the Chemical Society of Nigeria (CSN).
